My wheel does not cut:
There may be several reasons why you can’t cut the glass with your automatic machine. Here are some of the most common reasons:
Planarity of the table.
Is the quality of the felt/carpet under the glass in good condition, no holes or wear under the glass ?
Is the glass perfectly flat, have you recently changed supplier ?
Does the air arrive in the head, air inlet hose to check.
Has the cutting head membrane been changed recently ?
Is the cylinder that lowers the shaft and its wheel in good condition ? , see the status of the cylinder or shaft, to be checked manually and check for any hard spot and/or twisted shaft.
Does the cutting oil settle well on the cutting line ?
Check the quality of the cutting oil, is it suitable for my needs (oily or evaporatable oil)
Are the pressures well adjusted, only the operator used to this machine is able to respond.
Wrong machine setting: Your automatic machine must be properly set to cut the glass. Make sure that the cutting pressure, cutting speed, cutting angle and cutting wheel are properly adjusted for the type of glass you are trying to cut.
Glass too thick: if the glass is too thick for your machine, it will not be possible to cut it. Make sure that the machine and the cutting wheel you use is suitable for cutting the type of glass you have.
Incorrectly positioned glass: if the glass is not correctly positioned on the machine, the cut may be missed. Make sure the glass is secured to the machine and aligned correctly.
Blunt wheel: If your machine blade is blunt, it will not be able to cut the glass effectively. Check the cutting wheel and replace if worn.
Lack of practice: cutting glass on an automatic machine requires some practice. If you are a beginner, you may need more time to get used to the machine and develop your skills.
